Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of intensive pulsed light combined with Q-switched laser on patients with chloasma. Methods A total of 220 patients with chloasma admitted to Deaprtment of Laser Cosmetology and Plastic Surgery, Zhaoqing Gaoyao District People's Hospital from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected and divided into laser group and combined group by random number table method, with 110 patients in each group. The laser group was treated with Q-switched laser, and the combined group was treated with intensive pulsed light on the basis of the laser group. The clinical efficacy, skin status, aesthetic recognition score and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the combined group was 95.45%, which was higher than 85.45% of the laser group (P <0.05). After treatment, the skin lesion area and skin lesion color scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the combined group were lower than those in the laser group (P <0.05). The FACE-Q score of the combined group was higher than that of the laser group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P >0.05). Conclusion Intensive pulsed light combined with Q-switched laser can effectively improve the skin condition of chloasma patients, improve their aesthetic recognition, and has high safety.
