Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of periorbital combined suspension rhytidectomy on facial rejuvenation. Methods From February 2021 to June 2022, 80 patients with facial aging admitted to Changchun Strait Plastic Surgery Hospital were selected and divided into control group (n =40) and observation group (n =40) by random number table method. The control group was treated with single upper eyelid correction, and the observation group was treated with periorbital combined suspension rhytidectomy. The improvement effect of wrinkles, self-evaluation of patients and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of WSRS and fishtail lines in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at 6 months after operation (P <0.05). At 6 months after operation, the scores of beautiful wound, improvement of chuanzi lines, improvement of eyebrow-eye distance, improvement of external angle droop and smoothness of double eyelid radian in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.00%, which was lower than 22.50% in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Periorbital combined suspension rhytidectomy in the treatment of facial aging can improve the facial aging problems such as fishtail lines and chuanzi lines, and the incidence of postoperative complications is low, which is worthy of clinical application.
