Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of modified Hamra eye bag surgery in patients with eye bag associated with lacrimal groove deformity. Methods From January 2021 to December 2023, 300 patients with eye bag and lacrimal groove deformity admitted to Shanghai Yiyan Medical Cosmetic Outpatient Department were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 150 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional eye bag surgery, and the observation group was treated with modified Hamra eye bag surgery. The clinical efficacy, treatment satisfaction and eye aesthetics of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 89.33%, which was higher than 80.67% in the control group (P <0.05). The treatment satisfaction of the observation group was 94.67%, which was higher than 87.33% of the control group (P <0.05). After treatment, the eye aesthetics score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The effect of modified Hamra eye bag surgery in the clinical treatment of patients with eye bag associated with lacrimal groove deformity is ideal, which can improve the clinical efficacy, improve patient satisfaction, and improve eye aesthetics. It is worthy of clinical application.
