Abstract:Objective: To analyse the role of light-curing composite resin in oral beauty restoration. Methods: 82 patients who underwent oral cosmetic restoration in our hospital were selected as research subjects, taking February 2022 to June 2025 as the research time, and divided into 41 cases in the reference group and 41 cases in the observation group according to the random number table method. The reference group applied porcelain crown oral restoration, and the observation group applied photocuring composite resin restoration, and statistically compared the restoration effect, periodontal index, chewing function and aesthetic effect of the two groups. Results: The restoration effect, periodontal index, chewing function and aesthetic effect of the observation group were obviously better than the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The effect of applying photocuring composite resin in oral cosmetic restoration is better, which can further improve the periodontal index and chewing function of patients, and improve the aesthetic effect. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
