Abstract:Objective: To analyze the nursing effect and resin shedding rate of four-handed operation in the treatment of dental fluorosis with photocurable resin veneers. Methods: From October 2022 to October 2025, 70 patients with dental fluorosis who visited the department of stomatology were divided into groups by the random number table method. The conventional group (n=35) received photocurable resin veneer treatment, while the observation group (n=35) was treated with four-handed operation care on the basis of the conventional group. The excellent and good rates of treatment, the aesthetic degree of restoration, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), the resin shedding rate, and the patient satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results: Compared with the conventional group, the excellent and good rate of treatment, the aesthetic degree of restoration, and the patient satisfaction were higher in the observation group (P < 0.05). Compared with the HAMA and HAMD scores of the conventional group after nursing, those of the observation group were lower (P < 0.05). Compared with the resin shedding rate of the conventional group, that of the observation group was lower (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Four-handed operation combined with photocurable resin veneers can effectively enhance the therapeutic effect and patient satisfaction of dental fluorosis restoration, reduce the resin shedding rate, and alleviate patients' negative emotions, with remarkable results.
