Abstract:Objective: To analyze the differences in aesthetic durability between ceramic veneers and resin veneers in the repair of mild-to-moderate fluorosis teeth. Methods: A total of 86 patients with mild-to-moderate dental fluorosis were divided into group A and group B from November 2023 to November 2024. Group A was treated with resin veneer restoration, while group B was treated with ceramic veneer restoration. The two groups were compared and analyzed in terms of color stability, marginal adaptation, surface integrity, and restoration retention rate. Results: The excellent and good rates of restoration color stability, marginal adaptation, and surface integrity in group B at 6, 12, and 24 months after operation, as well as the restoration retention rate at 12 and 24 months after operation, were significantly higher than those in group A (P<0.05).Conclusion: Compared with resin veneer restoration, ceramic veneers have better aesthetic durability in the restoration of mild-to-moderate dental fluorosis, which is more worthy of clinical promotion and application.
