Abstract:Objective: To explore and analyze the application value of humanistic care psychological nursing in patients with missing teeth undergoing immediate implantation. Methods: 70 patients with missing teeth and undergoing immediate implantation who were admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to February 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the principle of random envelope drawing, these 70 patients were divided into the humanistic group (35 cases) and the traditional group (35 cases). The traditional group received routine care, while the humanistic group received humanistic care psychological nursing in addition to the traditional group's care. The two groups of patients received nursing until 14 days after the operation. The changes in the scores of the Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), and Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) of the two groups of patients were recorded, as well as the occurrence of complications. Results: The SAS score and SDS score of the humanistic group at 14 days after the operation were significantly lower than those of the traditional group (P < 0.05). The pain VAS score of the humanistic group at 14 days after the operation was lower than that of the traditional group (P < 0.05). The incidence of secondary bleeding, local infection, facial swelling, etc. during the 14-day period after the operation was 5.71% in the humanistic group, while it was 25.71% in the traditional group. The humanistic group was significantly lower than the traditional group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The application of humanistic care psychological nursing in patients with missing teeth undergoing immediate implantation can alleviate anxiety and depression, reduce pain, and lower the incidence of complications.
