Objective: To investigate the application value of pure titanium post and core in the treatment of dental defects and its influence on patients" aesthetic restoration effect.Methods: 90 patients with dental defects (Jan 2023–Dec 2024) in our hospital. The control group received dental restoration with conventional post and core materials, while the observation group was treated with pure titanium post and core. The restoration success rate, dental aesthetic score before and after treatment, restoration time, dental bonding strength, postoperative complications and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results: The effective treatment rate, postoperative aesthetic score and treatment satisfaction of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); its single-tooth restoration time was significantly shorter and dental bonding strength was significantly higher, with significantly lower incidence of postoperative complications (P<0.05).Conclusion: Pure titanium post and core has high application value in the restorative treatment of dental defects, which can effectively improve the restoration success rate and dental aesthetic level, shorten restoration time, enhance dental bonding strength, reduce postoperative complications and boost treatment satisfaction..
