Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on the recovery and quality of life of patients with alopecia areata.Methods: The subjects were 56 patients with alopecia areata who were admitted to dermatology department from January 2025 to December 2025. The patients were divided into two groups by random drawing, with 28 patients receiving routine nursing as control group and 28 patients receiving comprehensive nursing intervention as study group, and the intervention effects of the two groups were evaluated.Results: After the intervention, the scores of each dimension of DASS in the two groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the lower score was in the study group (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the scores of hair regeneration and new hair density, thickness and color in both groups were lower than those before the intervention, and the lower score was in the study group (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the VSS scores and the total SALT scores of the patients in the study group were both lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the quality of life of patients in both groups improved, and the better one was the study group (P < 0.05). The satisfaction degree of patients in the study group (96.43%) was higher than that in the control group (78.57%) (P < 0.05).Conclusion: Comprehensive nursing intervention in patients with alopecia areata is helpful to improve their psychological state, promote hair growth, and have high patient satisfaction, which is of positive significance to promote the recovery of patients' condition and improve their quality of life.
