Abstract:Objective: To compare the value of minimally invasive ultra-thin veneers and all ceramic veneers in improving aesthetic effects and restoring chewing function in anterior tooth gap restoration. Method: 82 patients with dental gap restoration admitted to Wuzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2024 to December 2025 were randomly divided into a study group (using minimally invasive ultra-thin veneer restoration) and a control group (using all ceramic veneer restoration), with 41 patients in each group. The restoration effects, aesthetic effects, periodontal indicators, chewing function, and bite function of the two groups were compared. Result: The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the aesthetic scores of the study group after repair were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The gingival index, plaque index, and bleeding index of the study group after repair were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the chewing and biting functions of the study group after repair were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Minimally invasive ultra-thin veneers can improve the restoration and aesthetic effects, promote the improvement of periodontal health, and restore oral function in the restoration of anterior tooth gaps.
