Abstract:【】Objective: To evaluate the aesthetic outcomes of endoscopic?assisted novel dual?plane dissection technique in the surgical correction of breast ptosis. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted on the clinical data of 76 female patients who underwent breast ptosis correction surgery in our hospital from January 2024 to January 2026. The patients were divided into the endoscopic group and the conventional group, with 38 cases in each group. The endoscopic new double-plane dissection technique and traditional correction techniques were respectively adopted for the surgeries. The surgical conditions, aesthetic effects of the breasts, incidence of complications, and patient satisfaction were compared. Results:The operation time of the endoscopic group was significantly longer than that of the conventional group (P < 0.05). The intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage volume, and hospital stay were all less in the endoscopic group than in the conventional group (P < 0.05). 3 months after the operation, the aesthetic score of the breasts in the endoscopic group was higher than that in the conventional group (P < 0.05), and the distance from the nipple to the midline of the sternum, and the distance from the mid-point of the clavicle to the lower fold of the breast were shorter in the endoscopic group than in the conventional group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups before the operation (P > 0.05). The postoperative complication rate of the endoscopic group was 5.26%, which was lower than 18.42% in the conventional group (P < 0.05); the questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction rate of patients in the endoscopic group was 94.74%, which was higher than 84.21% in the conventional group (P < 0.05).Conclusion: The new dual-plane dissection technique under endoscopy has the advantages of precise dissection, short operation time, less bleeding, low incidence of complications, and satisfactory aesthetic effect in breast ptosis plastic surgery. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
