Abstract:**** Objective: To explore the application effects of all-ceramic veneers and all-ceramic crowns in the aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth. Methods: Seventy-eight patients with maxillary anterior tooth damage admitted to our hospital from January 2025 to January 2026 were selected and randomly divided into an all-ceramic veneer group (n=39, 46 affected teeth, receiving all-ceramic veneer restoration) and an all-ceramic crown group (n=39, 49 affected teeth, receiving all-ceramic crown restoration). The differences in morphological aesthetic restoration outcomes [including Pink Esthetic Score (PES) and White Esthetic Score (WES)], periodontal health indicators [including Probing Depth (PD), Gingival Index (GI), Plaque Index (PLI), and Sulcus Bleeding Index (SBI)], and complication rates between the two groups were compared. Results: At 3 months post-treatment, both groups showed improved PES and WES scores compared to pre-treatment, with the all-ceramic veneer group exhibiting higher scores than the all-ceramic crown group (P<0.05). Both groups demonstrated reduced PD, GI, PLI, and SBI levels compared to pre-treatment, with the all-ceramic veneer group showing lower levels than the all-ceramic crown group (P<0.05). The complication rate in the all-ceramic veneer group was 4.35%, significantly lower than the 18.37% in the all-ceramic crown group (P<0.05). Conclusion: All-ceramic veneers exhibit superior morphological aesthetic effects compared to all-ceramic crowns in anterior tooth aesthetic restoration, with greater benefits for periodontal health and reduced complication rates, making them worthy of promotion.
