Abstract:Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive resin restoration combined with infiltration resin in the treatment of anterior tooth enamel chalky spots. Methods: From January 2023 to December 2025, 86 patients (142 teeth) with anterior tooth enamel chalky spots admitted to our hospital were selected and divided into the observation group (43 cases, 72 teeth, minimally invasive resin restoration combined with infiltration resin treatment) and the control group (43 cases, 70 teeth, simple infiltration resin treatment) using the random number table method. The comparison was made between the two groups in terms of the ratio of chalky spot lesion area, ΔE value of tooth color difference, total treatment effectiveness rate, subjective aesthetic satisfaction, and adverse reaction rate. Results: Compared with the control group, the lesion area ratio and ΔE value of chalky lesions in the observation group were lower after treatment, and the total effective rate and subjective aesthetic satisfaction of the observation group were higher (P < 0.05); The statistical results of adverse reaction incidence showed that there was no difference between the control group (6.98%) and the observation group (11.63%) (P > 0.05).Conclusion: The short-term clinical efficacy and aesthetic effect of minimally invasive resin restoration combined with infiltration resin in the treatment of anterior tooth enamel chalky spots are superior to that of infiltration resin treatment alone, and can improve patient satisfaction.
