Objective: To observe the application effect of digital non-bracketed invisible orthodontic appliances in adolescent orthodontic treatment and their impact on the periodontal health of patients. Methods: 82 adolescent orthodontic treatment patients from the First People"s Hospital of Xining were selected as the research subjects. The collection period was from May 2022 to May 2026. The research subjects were grouped according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received the Twin-Block orthodontic appliance, while the study group received digital non-bracketed invisible orthodontic appliances. The therapeutic effects of the patients were compared. Results: The Go-Go distance, Go-Gn distance, and SNB angle of the study group were all higher than those of the control group, while the U1-NA distance, U1-NA angle, U1-SN angle, and gingival index (GI), plaque index (PLI) of the study group were all lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). There was no difference in patient complications (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Digital non-bracketed invisible orthodontic appliances can further improve the orthodontic treatment effect of adolescent patients and improve periodontal health.
