Purpose:To evaluate the effect of composite resin laminating technique on anterior space closure and cosmetic restoration in patients with periodontitis. Methods:From February 2022 to June 2025, 80 patients with periodontitis and anterior interdental space were selected. The data were collected and grouped by random number table. Both groups received periodontal basic treatment and were restored after the condition stabilized. The observation group (40 cases) was treated with composite resin laminating technology; The control group (40 cases) was treated with composite resin direct bonding repair technology. The closure effect and aesthetic effect of the two groups were compared, and the tooth function and quality of life were evaluated before and after restoration. Results:The closure efficiency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The chewing efficiency, bite force, SAS and SDS scores before repair were similar in the two groups (P gt; 0.05); The masticatory efficiency and bite force of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the SAS score and SDS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 6 months after repair (P < 0.05). The aesthetic effect of observation group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions:Composite resin laminating technology can improve the closing effect of anterior teeth space, improve tooth function and appearance, and improve bad mood in patients with periodontitis.
