Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of personalized health education and psychological intervention on facial symmetry satisfaction in patients with anterior implant restoration. Methods A total of 76 patients with anterior implant restoration treated at China-Japan Friendship Hospital from April 2022 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the order of admission time, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 38 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received personalized health education and psychological intervention on the basis of the control group. The aesthetic effect, subjective aesthetic satisfaction, facial symmetry satisfaction and psychological status were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in aesthetic effect between the two groups both immediately after implantation and at 6 months after implantation (P>0.05). The OES scores of the observation group both immediately after implantation and at 6 months after implantation were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The facial symmetry satisfaction scores of the observation group both immediately after implantation and at 6 months after implantation were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The PIDAQ score of the observation group at 6 months after implantation was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Personalized health education and psychological intervention for patients with anterior implant restoration can help to improve facial symmetry satisfaction, enhance subjective aesthetic satisfaction and social self-conffdence.
