Abstract:With the continuous advancement of "Belt and Road Initiative", the number of international medical students in China has increased year by year. How to improve the quality of the Stomatology course in a multicultural environment has become a research hotspot in the international medical education ffeld. Taking international clinical medicine students at Guangxi Medical University as the research subjects, this paper systematically explores the practice of applying Case-based Learning (CBL) in the Stomatology course. In the teaching practice, ffve core problems are systematically summarized, including poor adaptability of the case database, language barriers among international students, deffciencies in the teaching evaluation system, differentiation of students' autonomous learning ability, and insufffcient integration of cross-cultural teaching. Correspondingly, ffve systematic solutions are proposed for the above problems: establishing a diversiffed adaptive case database, building a layered language support system, constructing an evaluation system emphasizing both process and results, strengthening the cultivation of autonomous learning ability, and deepening the integration of cross-cultural teaching. Modern educational technologies such as self-regulated learning (SRL) cultivation mechanism, virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) immersive teaching and artiffcial intelligence (AI) assisted learning are used to enhance collaborative optimization, so as to provide practical basis and theoretical references for establishing a Stomatology teaching model adapted to the needs of "Belt and Road Initiative" international medical education.
