Objective To analyze the effect of all-ceramic aesthetic restoration on periodontal health and tooth morphology recovery in patients with anterior tooth defect. Methods A total of 56 patients with anterior tooth defect treated in the Department of Stomatology, Daozhen Autonomous County People's Hospital from July 2024 to January 2026 were selected as the research subjects. According to different restoration schemes, they were divided into the control group and the observation group, with 28 patients in each group. The control group received conventional porcelain-fused-to-metal crown restoration, and the observation group received all-ceramic aesthetic restoration. The periodontal health, tooth morphology recovery, satisfaction and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After restoration, the periodontal health of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The rate of grade A tooth morphology recovery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group (96.43%) was higher than that of the control group (85.71%) (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (0) was lower than that in the control group (21.43%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with anterior tooth defect, all-ceramic aesthetic restoration can effectively protect periodontal tissue and achieve satisfactory tooth morphology recovery. It features few adverse reactions and high safety, which is conducive to improving patient satisfaction.
