Objective To analyze the prognostic effect of peri-implant debridement combined with guided bone regeneration and implantoplasty in patients with peri-implantitis. Methods A total of 100 patients with peri-implantitis admitted to Baotou Central Hospital from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the study group by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with peri-implant debridement, and the study group was treated with peri-implant debridement combined with guided bone regeneration and implantoplasty. The peri-implant status, inffammatory factor levels and oral health impact proffle were compared between the two groups. Results The mPI of the study group after treatment was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). There were no statistically signiffcant differences in mSBI and probing depth between the two groups (P>0.05). The levels of CRP, TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). However, there was no signiffcant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). The scores of all dimensions of OHIP in the study group after treatment were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combined application of peri-implant debridement, guided bone regeneration and implantoplasty achieves favorable clinical effects for patients with peri-implantitis. It can improve peri-implant status and enhance patients' oral health-related quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
