Objective To explore the effect of comprehensive pain management on pain perception and postoperative recovery in patients undergoing laser aesthetic therapy. Methods A total of 48 patients who received laser aesthetic treatment in the First Afffliated Hospital of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University from January to December 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into group A and group B, with 24 patients in each group. Group A received conventional nursing, and group B received comprehensive pain management on the basis of conventional nursing. The pain perception, postoperative recovery, satisfaction, complication rate, mental status and skin smoothness were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS score in group B at 24 h after operation was lower than that in group A (P<0.05). The postoperative recovery time of group B was shorter than that of group A (P<0.05). The satisfaction of group B (91.67%) was higher than that of group A (70.83%) (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in group B (4.17%) was lower than that in group A (20.83%), but the difference was not statistically signiffcant (P>0.05). The postoperative SAS score in group B was lower than that in group A (P<0.05). The postoperative skin smoothness score of group B was higher than that of group A (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of comprehensive pain management during laser aesthetic treatment can not only effectively improve the pain control effect and psychological state of patients, but also shorten the postoperative recovery time, reduce the incidence of complications, and improve skin smoothness and patient satisfaction.
