Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on health behavior interaction model on treatment compliance in adolescent patients with ffxed orthodontics. Methods A total of 100 adolescent patients with ffxed orthodontics admitted to Changsha Stomatological Hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the reference group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The reference group received conventional nursing intervention, and the observation group received nursing intervention based on health behavior interaction model. The periodontal indicators, treatment compliance, satisfaction with correction effect and nasolabial angle aesthetics were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the gingival index, sulcus bleeding index and debris index in the observation group were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). After intervention, the treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the reference group (P<0.05). After intervention, the satisfaction rate of correction effect in the observation group was higher than that in the reference group (P<0.05). After intervention, the nasolabial angle aesthetics of the observation group was better than that of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion For adolescent patients with ffxed orthodontics, nursing intervention based on health behavior interaction model can improve periodontal indicators and nasolabial angle aesthetics, enhance treatment compliance, and increase satisfaction with correction effect.
