To implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and realize the organic integration of knowledge teaching and value cultivation for stomatological technology majors, this paper takes the course of fixed dental prosthesis technology as the research subject. Combined with the characteristics of the course, such as strong practicality and technicality, and close connection with clinical restorative dentistry positions, it analyzes the practical signiffcance and existing problems of curriculum-based ideological and political education. Corresponding practical strategies are proposed from the aspects of reconstructing teaching objectives, exploring ideological and political elements suitable for ffxed dental prosthesis technology, innovating teaching methods and improving the evaluation system, which are illustrated with speciffc teaching cases. Meanwhile, a hierarchical and multi-dimensional assessment system is established to verify the practical effects.
