Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of multimodal analgesia in plastic and aesthetic surgery. Methods A total of 80 subjects undergoing elective plastic surgery at Weihai Municipal Hospital, Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong Medical and Pharmaceutical University from April 2024 to January 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 40 subjects in each group. The control group was treated with conventional analgesia, and the observation group was treated with multimodal analgesia. The pain intensity, dosage of analgesics, complication rate, postoperative recovery indicators and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The VAS scores of the observation group at 6, 12, 24 and 48 hours after surgery were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The consumption of opioids within 48 hours postoperatively in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (15.00%) was lower than that in the control group (37.50%), and the difference was statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The ffrst ambulation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). The satisfaction score and the proportion of highly satisfied patients in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically signiffcant (P<0.05). Conclusion With the synergistic effect of multiple analgesic approaches, multimodal analgesia can effectively relieve postoperative pain and reduce the addiction risk of opioids. It also helps to reduce the incidence of complications, enable early ambulation and shorten hospitalization time. This regimen can comprehensively improve analgesia efffcacy, safety and rehabilitation efffciency, and has broad prospects in clinical application.
