Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of platelet-rich ffbrin (PRF) combined with bone augmentation technique on soft tissue thickness and aesthetic effect in patients undergoing aesthetic zone implantation. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent aesthetic zone implantation in the Department of Stomatology, Guangzhou Sogood Meiyun Stomatological Hospital from July 2024 to December 2025 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with bone augmentation technique alone, and the observation group was treated with PRF combined with bone augmentation technique. The soft tissue thickness-related indicators, bone tissue-related indicators, aesthetic restoration effect and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The gingival thickness and keratinized gingival width of the observation group at 3 and 4 months after surgery were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). At 4 months after surgery, the marginal bone level and bone density around implants in the two groups were higher than those before surgery, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). At 4 months after surgery, the scores of PES and WES in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (4.00%) was lower than that in the control group (16.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For aesthetic zone implantation, PRF combined with bone augmentation technique can increase soft tissue thickness, optimize bone conditions, improve aesthetic restoration effect, and reduce the incidence of complications.
