Objective To analyze the effect of autologous septal cartilage combined with auricular cartilage transplantation on nasal aesthetic indicators in patients undergoing nasal tip plasty. Methods A total of 90 patients receiving nasal tip plasty admitted to the Department of Plastic Surgery, Weiyang Bafume Medical Aesthetic Clinic from January 2023 to January 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 45 patients in each group. The control group was treated with silicone prosthesis implantation, and the observation group received autologous septal cartilage combined with auricular cartilage transplantation. The surgical correction effect, nasal aesthetic indicators and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group (97.78%) was higher than that of the control group (84.44%) (P<0.05). The postoperative nasal tip projection, nasal tip height and nasolabial angle of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while the deviation of nasal tip central point was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (4.44%) was lower than that in the control group (17.78%) (P<0.05). Conclusion In nasal tip plasty, the application of autologous septal cartilage combined with auricular cartilage transplantation can achieve favorable correction effect and optimize nasal aesthetic contour, which has a low incidence of complications and good safety.
