Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing quality control model in patients with orthodontics. Methods A total of 80 patients with orthodontics admitted to Afffliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from June 2023 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received conventional orthodontic nursing intervention, and the observation group received multidisciplinary collaborative nursing quality control model on the basis of the control group. The oral aesthetics, nursing quality, compliance and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results The PES score of the observation group at 6 months after intervention was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The scores of all dimensions of nursing quality in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment compliance rate of the observation group was 97.50%, which was higher than 80.00% of the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group (5.00%) was lower than that in the control group (20.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of multidisciplinary collaborative nursing quality control model for patients with orthodontics can improve patients' treatment compliance, reduce the risk of complications, optimize oral aesthetics and elevate overall nursing quality.
