Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of moist wound healing nursing combined with early comprehensive rehabilitation nursing in pediatric scald patients and its inffuence on the degree of skin appearance recovery. Methods A total of 60 children with scald treated in Donglong Central Health Center of Qintang District from January 2023 to December 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 30 children in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received moist wound healing nursing combined with early comprehensive rehabilitation nursing on the basis of the control group. The wound healing time, scar hyperplasia, skin appearance recovery and parental satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The wound healing time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). The VSS score of the observation group after intervention was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). At 3 months after intervention, the scores of scar ffatness, pigmentation, skin elasticity and overall aesthetics in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The parental satisfaction rate of the observation group (96.67%) was higher than that of the control group (80.00%) (P<0.05). Conclusion For pediatric scald patients, the combined application of moist wound healing nursing and early comprehensive rehabilitation nursing can effectively shorten wound healing time, alleviate scar hyperplasia, promote skin appearance recovery, and improve parental satisfaction.
