Objective To explore the effect of early eye-opening training on symptom-relieving effect in patients undergoing modiffed combined fascial sheath suspension surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients with severe ptosis admitted to Guangyang District Ophthalmology Hospital from November 2022 to November 2025 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. Both groups received modiffed combined fascial sheath suspension surgery. The control group was given conventional nursing, and the observation group received early postoperative eye-opening training on the basis of the control group. The symptom-relieving effect, aesthetic effect and nursing quality were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of symptom-relieving in the observation group (92.00%) was higher than that in the control group (74.00%) (P<0.05). The scores of all dimensions of aesthetic effect in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of all dimensions of nursing quality in the observation group after nursing were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Early eye-opening training after modiffed combined fascial sheath suspension surgery can effectively relieve patients' symptoms, improve nursing quality, optimize ocular aesthetic effect, and accelerate functional recovery.
