Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of breast ptosis correction combined with prosthetic breast augmentation in patients with breast ptosis complicated by breast atrophy. Methods A total of 60 patients with breast ptosis complicated by breast atrophy admitted to Dali Wu's Jiamei Aesthetic Clinic from January 2024 to January 2026 were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group and the study group, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received prosthetic breast augmentation alone, and the study group received breast ptosis correction combined with prosthetic breast augmentation. The improvement of breast morphology, complication rate and plastic surgery satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the breast symmetry rate and mammary protrusion in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the breast base width was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of complications in the study group (3.33%) was lower than that in the control group (23.33%) (P <0.05). The plastic surgery satisfaction rate of the study group (96.67%) was higher than that of the control group (73.33%) (P <0.05). Conclusion Breast ptosis correction combined with prosthetic breast augmentation achieves definite treatment effect for patients with breast ptosis complicated by breast atrophy. It can effectively improve breast morphology, has a low incidence of postoperative complications, and results in high patient satisfaction with the plastic surgery, making it worthy of clinical application.
