Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early psychological intervention combined with aesthetic nursing on anxiety level and aesthetic satisfaction in patients undergoing oral implant surgery. Methods A total of 120 patients who received oral implant surgery at Wuxi Stomatology Hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the observation group by the random number table method, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received conventional nursing, and the observation group received early psychological intervention combined with aesthetic nursing on the basis of conventional nursing. The anxiety level, aesthetic satisfaction, functional recovery, quality of life, nursing satisfaction and postoperative swelling rate and pain rate were compared between the two groups. Results The SAS scores of the observation group at 1 day, 1 week and 1 month after operation were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The aesthetic satisfaction scores of the observation group at 1, 3 and 6 months after operation were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The subjective masticatory function score, maximum occlusal force and speech satisfaction score in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The OHIP-14 score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The rates of postoperative swelling and pain in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).
